In shortDelChester Wildlife Conservation Group, Ltd. is a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation based in Media, PA. Our name comes from Delaware and Chester Counties, where we started more than 30 years ago. For over three decades we have actively run wildlife management programs, and today we help farms, campuses and municipalities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland control deer, goose and turkey damage.

How long have we been doing this?
DelChester Wildlife Conservation Group has been actively handling wildlife management programs for more than 30 years. Over that time our members have managed deer and waterfowl on farms, private estates, preserves and community land, worked under every kind of state permit, and built lasting relationships with landowners who trust us on their property season after season.
Why does our work matter?
Southeastern Pennsylvania and the neighboring states have some of the most valuable farmland and open space in the region, and some of the most crowded roads. White-tailed deer thrive where farms, woods and neighborhoods meet, and with limited hunting access their numbers grow beyond what the land can carry. Resident Canada geese do the same on ponds, fields, parks and corporate lawns.

What do we stand for?
Numbers first. Plans built on what the land and a deer count show.
The law, every time. Work only under the landowner’s permits.
Safety and discretion near homes, schools and roads.
Respect for the animal and full use of every deer.
Good neighbors who answer to the landowner.
Habitat. Wood duck nest boxes, mallard nesting structures and other habitat projects on the lands we work.
Who do we work with?
State wildlife agencies, cooperative extension, and conservation, hunting and fishing organizations. See our partners and resources.
